MEET THE HEART BEHIND THE ART
WELCOME TO SWEET LIFE!
I’m super grateful you’re here. It’s been quite the journey getting to this point, and if there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s that you can reinvent yourself at any time…
And it’s never too late to chase your dreams.
Here is a taste of my story…
I grew up on Long Island, surrounded by the creativity, color, and pulse of New York City. My dad worked in the Garment Center, and as early as I can remember, I was captivated by the world of fashion and wanted to follow in his footsteps. He was my hero. I always felt a little different, never quite fitting in, shy, introverted, and most at peace when I was creating. I graduated high school a year early, spending every free moment in the art room, so I could attend my dream school, the Fashion Institute of Technology, and surround myself with people who shared a similar passion. While at FIT, I worked for my favorite designer, Donna Karan, which deepened my love for design and fine craftsmanship. I went on to spend many years in the fashion and beauty industries, with global beauty leaders like L’Oréal and Estée Lauder, where I learned the art of luxury and the joy of making people feel beautiful.
SWEET & SOUR
The idea for Sweet Life was born out of profound love… And loss. At the beginning of the pandemic, I was working with a medical grade skincare company - a world far removed from the creative energy I loved. Then everything changed. I suddenly lost both of my parents to Covid, one right after the other. It was beyond devastating and my heart was shattered in a million pieces. But, in that pain, I found purpose. I knew I didn’t want to spend one more day doing something that didn’t fill my soul. I wanted to create beauty, joy and something that celebrated the sweetness of life. That’s how Sweet Life began…
I started making luxury chocolates and custom gifts to help people celebrate life’s milestones, holidays, and special occasions. It brought me so much joy to add a little extra sweetness (and sparkle!) to their happiest moments.
My beloved parents taught me that the little things in life are actually the BIG things — and that lesson inspired the name Sweet Life. It’s about so much more than candy; it’s a lifestyle. It’s about living with love, kindness, gratitude, and a passion and zest for life… And to truly appreciate every day we are given.
NOW & LATER
After a few years of making chocolate, I felt called to explore a new creative path - resin art. I’ve always been fascinated by its translucent beauty and depth, and I began using real, colorful candy in my work. Each piece feels joyful and nostalgic, capturing that magical “kid in a candy store” feeling.
Every one-of-a-kind piece I create holds a heart — a little piece of my own. It’s my way of pouring (literally) love, light, and positive energy out into the world. My art is created to light up a room, lift spirits and warm spaces. I hope it reminds you to smile, to feel, and to cherish life’s sweetest moments…
Because we all deserve to live a Sweet Life.
